33% of food is wasted globally
While exploring information online, I came across a set of statistics about global food waste that initially seemed hard to believe. After confirming the numbers with official sources, I realized the scale of the issue was even greater than I had expected.
This discovery motivated me to start a series of educational data visualizations. The project is based on the idea that thoughtful visual design can make complex data easier to understand, encourage reflection, and potentially inspire positive change.ย
